First of all, sorry for my bad english.
Singapore - Indonesia Student Leaders' Adventure Camp (SISLAC) is an event between both countries for giving Indonesian and Singaporean students have new experiences, new friends, more know about Singapore, and socialize with other student outside Indonesia, and also with Singapore students. Let me introduce myself, my name is M. Ilham Mohadi, I was studied in 22 Senior High School Jakarta. There are 3 people who selected to participate in this event and I'm one of them.
First day (November 1st, 2014) all participants gathered at Amos Cozy hotel in Blok M, South Jakarta. I meet up with my friends when I got join in FLS2N, such as poetry, short movie, male singer, and many more. After that I meet a lot of participants from around Indonesia and also debriefing training for our cultural performance in Singapore. The second day was really really fun. we're playing a variety games, especially knowledge about Indonesia and received training how to write an essay, like this. At 04:00 AM we headed to Soekarno- Hatta airport (CGK), at 09:00 AM we flew to Singapore with Garuda Indonesia airlines, the travel approximately one-half hours. After arriving, I saw the biggest and excellent airports I've ever seen.
November 3rd, 2014 is my first day in camp and Singapore. We prepared our bed. First activity in there Is an opening. The Opening SISLAC opened inside hall, I was there in charge of holding the Indonesian flag, next activity is playing Singapore's traditional games and Introducing myself to the Singaporean students. I’m join in the group 5, the name of my trainer is Kat, in group 5 I have new friends from Singapore – GanJiaHui, Ikhwan, Kelly, Eugene, Hayati, Liza, Hanafi, Hidayah, and Jennie. The second days of camp are spending our days outside camp place and I went to Labrador park, in there I spend my days learning about Singapore's history (Labrador Park history – Batu Berlayar (Gate Dragon Teeth), Guns, Sea Almond, Terminalia catappa, Mangrove, and many more). The next day we go to Singapore city, go to China Town, URA Tower, and Kallang Wave with SMRT, after all of the activity we walk around the merlion and then I go to Little India with Bus, and Mustafa Shopping Centre for Shopping :'3 those day so very tired but I'm so excited.
The fourth days we go to the Gardens By The Bay, which is really nice to see all the plant from any country, then we go to Flower Dome. I saw a lot of beautiful flowers in there, and we go to the Cloud Forest. there have an artificial waterfall awesome. And after that we go to see Marina Barrage and go to ride my group's dragon boat, at night we prepared for out cultural performance which was the saddest part, because I have to leave all my friends.
My favorite part in all activity in Singapore is when we drive the Dragon boat, why? 'cause in there we are trained to work together and I can see all Singapore icons – Merlion, MBS, Gardens By The Bay, Flower Dome, Cloud Forest.
